As we witness our parents age or suffer from debilitating illnesses, the decisions we have to make as their children and caregivers can be some of the most difficult decisions we will ever face.  As I was faced to make decisions for my mother, I was comforted in the fact that I was able to turn to the leadership team of Ruston Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, LLC for guidance and their expertise.  Having been in healthcare for 20 years myself, I have worked with many families and caregivers and provided guidance myself, but when the tables are turned, decisions can be quite difficult. 

Ruston Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, LLC was my family's choice for placement as my mother advanced into the final stages of her life.  Their staff and support systems provided excellent care for her as she moved through the various stages of her cancer and they also provided a loving environment. Not only did they provide an excellent home environment, the nursing and CNA staff treated her as their own mother and loved her just as we did.  As we were faced with difficult decisions, they provided guidance and support above and beyond the call of duty.  We will forever be grateful for the excellent care they gave her during her final days.
